World Rum Day: Devon Storm Cocktail
This World Rum Day we’re celebrating the world-famous distilled spirit with our popular Devon Storm cocktail. A nod to a traditional Perfect-Storm mixture, our cocktail hints at our Devon routes and the stormy weather we can experience exposed to westerly winds from the Atlantic. But what really sets our recipe a cut above the rest is the perfect balance our Hot Ginger Beer provides when paired with premium rum.
A few years ago we discovered that our Ginger Beer’s heat and excellent taste complimented the rich, sweet profiles of premium rum. With our organic Peruvian Ginger bringing warmth, and the added element of sweetness and spice drawing from the rum, a perfect combination was born.
Ingredients
- 4 parts Luscombe Hot Ginger Beer
- 1 part Premium Rum (we've used Hattiers here)
- Fresh juice from 1 lime
- Fresh lime swirls
- Garnish with mint leaves
- Ice cubes
Recipe
- Pour the premium rum over ice and top up with Luscombe organic Hot Ginger Beer
- Treat to a squeeze of lime for a zesty finish
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves, enjoy!
