At Luscombe, we’ve always believed that provenance matters. That where something is made, how it's made, and by who, should never be an afterthought - it should be a proud part of the story. That’s why we’ve made the pledge to be ‘Made in Devon, Always’.
Rooted in Dartmoor
Devon isn’t just where we’re based; it’s who we are. Our home on the edge of Dartmoor shapes everything we do, from the care we take to the ingredients we meticulously choose to craft our drinks. We’ve always felt a deep connection to this landscape, so it’s only fitting that we root ourselves fully here and commit to keeping every part of our production under our own roof.
In a world where outsourcing is common practice, we’ve taken a different path. Every Luscombe is crafted on-site, by our own team, right here in Devon. We don’t send our recipes off for someone else to bottle or buy pre blended juice. We do it ourselves. So we can stay true to our standards and deliver the quality you’ve our customers come to expect. It's about care, craftsmanship, and staying hands-on every step of the way.
The Three Hares: A Symbol of Place and Purpose
To mark this pledge, we’ve introduced a new emblem: the Three Hares stamp. This ancient historical Celtic symbol is found carved into buildings across Dartmoor, Devon. The hares, chasing one another in an eternal loop, represent continuity, unity, and the circularity of nature we rely on for our best tasting ingredients.
For us, the Three Hares capture the spirit of Luscombe: a blend of tradition and energy, rootedness and movement. They’re a visual reminder of our commitment - to our land, our craft, and to doing things the right way, not the easy way.
What It Means for You
When you pick up a Luscombe, you're not just tasting exceptional ingredients and pure Dartmoor spring water - you’re enjoying the result of unwavering local integrity. You’re supporting a company that puts care into every detail and takes pride in crafting award-winning soft drinks without ever compromising on quality.
We’re proud to stand by this promise: Made in Devon, Always. Because where you’re from matters and we’re right where we’re meant to be.
