Summer living in and around Luscombe

Summer living in and around Luscombe

Luscombe sits delicately in the heart of Devon, crafting and perfecting drinks on an old English farm. Scattered apple trees can be seen from the office window, fields roll on for miles and if you’re lucky, you may spot the odd cow grazing on the hill top.

Our location couldn’t be any better; the perfect balance of country and coastal. And, with so many beautiful beaches surrounding us, it only makes sense to head to the water to enjoy those long Summer evenings and sunsets. Watch the swirls of pink, red and orange paint the sky, enjoy the blissful sounds of the tide and of course have a Luscombe at hand. If you haven’t already, you will fall in love with Devon and Cornwall quickly.

To help you on your way, we’ve pulled together a list of our favourite places to enjoy a refreshing Luscombe this Summer;

River Exe Café – Exmouth
Dining with a difference, this floating barge turned shed and now restaurant, offers the most amazing views across the River Exe. Accessible only by river taxi this seasonal restaurant offers a wide range of locally sourced food and of course a great selection of Luscombe allowing you to enjoy a great sundowner with a hearty local meal.

Malsters Arms – Tuckenhay (near Totnes)
Although this little riverside pub is not at the beach, it is on the water. Close to Totnes, Bantham Beach and within easy reach of Dartmouth by boat, paddle board or kayak this picturesque pub, restaurant and bed & breakfast is a welcoming favourite for locals and returning visitors. Sit back and enjoy a refreshing Luscombe hot ginger beer on its own or add a splash of local rum and watch the world go by.
