Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing business and be part of an exciting challenge in which you can make a difference. Deputising for the Finance Director as required and responsible for the supervision of sales & purchase ledger functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of month end
    • Prepayments/Accruals
    • Stock Journals
    • Management accounts preparation
    • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • All HMRC returns
  • Business Area Cost Centre meetings with budget holders
  • Assisting with Budgeting/Forecasting
  • Creating & preparing reports for business across all business areas
  • Assisting implementation of controls for the finance function across the business
  • Deputising for the FD
  • Supervision of sales & purchase ledger functions
  • Identifying areas of improvement in line with best practice
  • Liaising with external auditors and preparing year-end file

KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • Part Qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA
  • Practice/audit background preferred
  • Very good excel skills
  • Sage 200 experience preferred
  • Team player – will be a key financial contact for the business
